GeneralMills is one of the world’s larger food companies, with offices ormanufacturing facilities in more than 30 countries. Dasch Associates wascommissioned to design General Mills’ Australia Head Office, Mt Waverlyfollowing a competitive design selection process.

Extensivegroup consultation was carried out to resolve General Mills’ needs andaspirations, resulting in an innovative fitout that will reinvigorate theirorganisation’s culture that is moving towards an increasing team focus andplayful work environment.

Maximisingan open plan working environment, breakout spaces and formal & informalspaces was a way Dasch was able to enhance the flexibility of the work spaces;improve collaboration among its employees and clients; and facilitate better communicationbetween teams. To sum up, the design aimed to reflect GM’s values, culture andapproach.
