The Address

The project is a City retreat overlooking the beloved Fitzroy Gardens, in the green heart of Melbourne, just moments from this vibrant & beautiful city. It is on a tree line street, surrounded by heritage homes and the tranquil elegance of East Melbourne.

“We wanted the space to be a celebration of who the client is, and a place where they can tell their own story”.

We looked to tailor the design to help recreate a feeling of being at home. An exciting task, which deals with sensations, images, and memories.

By being deliberate in the choice of furniture, fittings and design, we hoped to convey the elegance of this boutique sanctuary in East Melbourne. From the choice around the colour of the blue-grey marble tops to the fabrics of the cushions and upholstery, to the choice of materials and colours for the floors, ceilings and walls, all being inspired by the roofs of East Melbourne and city-scape you see from the large full height windows.
